I think the answer is to be spiritually minded without adopting the dogma of a man-made religion. Most main religions harbour the same basic truths like man should not kill (although in real life this does not seem to be so!). Therefore i think there could be a recognition of global spirituality. The test would be that a truth would only be proven if common to every main religion.

If it was religion that people want them evrybody would join them, but its the deaper understanding of life that evrybody is looking for. Religion can help you and it can harm you at the same time.
I personaly dont have strings with any religion but I respect all of them, becouse religions are also expression of trues. Your existance is religion in itself. Just the simple trues "I AM" can bee enough for some.
Nobody and no thing can fulfill you or make you happy, it's your inner world that needs to be looked at to have a great inpact on your life.
Evry religion and evry teching is like a garden where "YOU" can pick flowers that you like and then move on to the next garden if you feel like.
I dont thik you want to be "THAT perso" who goes to curch and then pretends to be a nice person, not knowing that finding and understanding our true nature we already are nice people and we dont need to pretend?
I love when people are confused and ask questions, becouse when you feel confused your mind is confused, let it pup like a bubble, let it give up, and you will find the truth that you are looking for when your mind gives up.
You already know what is true, it's just your mind trying so hard co confuse you.

I do absolutely agree with your broad minded views.People truly look for the wisdom that help them to understand their inner reality and identity,but their mind is so much attached and focussed on the outward aspects of life,their faculty of experience is so much rooted in the gross reality of relative aspects of the worldly life,they fail to look inwards to their inner world. All religions to-day mostly guide us for improvement of outward values and character of life. But what is important is a holistic approach for purification and awakening of inner consciousness.
