Im getting fed up with helping people!  |

 Ive just gone through and tidied up my emails, and I counted numerous mails I had sent with information to help others. These were not referral links or anything that I could gain by, other than that I felt I had done a good turn in helping a fellow human in need. There are 12 mails to which I have never had a response. What is it with people? They start a discussion asking for help, accept the friendship request and then read/dont read the return email and act/dont act upon the advice given. But the LEAST they can do is say thanks, and I wouldnt mind knowing if the advice I have given has helped in any way. Has anyone else suffered this?

It happens to all of us. People come here and start posting stuff and don't have a clue what they're doing. They hear that all they have to do is post a discussion to get paid, so that's what they do and then don't bother to come back and read anything.
They are the people that will watch their earnings and nothing else and come back and complain that the site is a scam because they posted something and didn't earn anything.
Nothing you can do about people like that, just continue to help those that do appreciate it. They make up for those that don't.

I am active on myLot from time to time and only respond to where I think I can help people and never receive any thanks in return. Some have done it but I would reckon over 90% haven't even bothered responding.
I now spend my time working on my site at least there I know I can help people and they thank me all the time.

They are free advice given through PMs, eg. one girl needed very cheap phone calls, I pm'd her a fantastic site, no come back for me whatsoever, and she never responded at all. I just hope she got her cheap calls. I have to say that I have had some very grateful responses to other help I have given, it just seems there are more that dont. Thanks for responding. | |

He will before executing your advice would like to thank you for your immediate response. Certainly after seeing the result of your advice he will again come to you to again thank and seek further advice. Do not get so. It pained me when any body's feelings are hurt.

| 10. marylinda (79) | 5 months ago | yes this happens me all the time in life, not on my lot cos i dont be on often enough. I have now learned that if someone wants help or advice or information once you let them know that you know something about it or have info, it is up to them to ask.
I have sent info to alot of people mainly about health and what they can do to help themselves besides waiting for the medics or priests or whoever to cure them but most of them have never done anything that was in the information. so i am stopping. they wont act on info unless they are interested or of the same mind.
I can see your point on mylot though. If they ask for advice it would be nice to get some feedback on your advice. People are weird or maybe too caught up in their own world or troubles to think of what is a nice thing to do. | |
