how would you like to die?

i just want to die slowly. although it will be painful. i really don't know. maybe im used to pain that's why i preferred it.

im starting to find this weird, talking about death!

i don't know really why i want it that way. actually im a nurse. and everyday, i can see and feel the pain of all the people involve to the person who is sick. or maybe i just have the masochist in me! or im after the attention that i can get! but anyway, there's truth in what you have said. maybe i can really say this for now.
yes death is inevitable. and the more important is where we will be after death...

for me, i would rather die sooner than live for 200 years more...

wow too.. that's a noble way to die! other people may think this dying way thing is crazy. but i think it is a brave thing to think of...

actually i would like the way Enoch was taken by God. where Enoch didn't really died but God just took Him to heaven.

i believe that even we die, when Jesus comes again, He will raise us up and meet us above the clouds! God have His plans for us, even the way for us to die. yes, he alone knows!

Yes exactly that is what I mean, the way Enoch and even Elijah when they were taken up to heaven without necessarily going through the process of dying. Is it not a wonderful opportunity? But I supposed it takes special people like them to be chosen and be given such a unique gift I should say!

I agree with you 100% that would be the way to go.If that does not happen than a nice easy peaceful death is my ideal. As I have said before I have been with dying people who where suffering and in great pain and I do not care if you know they are going to dye at any minute it is still a shock. Even the times where someone is in such pain the pain medication does not control the pain. When the nurse says they are now dead it is still a shock and when you know death was the best thing for them it is still a shock.
After a certain age I think we start preparing for death and making our peace with it. After all it is a natural progression of life. But yes I am for Jesus coming back to get us.

that would be really a peaceful way of dying. and it can make other people think also that you are just sleeping.

i know they will suffer seeing me slowly dying on my bed. i just thought i want to us to go through the grieving process together. i want us all to go through the acceptance stage.
i just want us all to accept the reality of death... i don't know if im making my point to you... thanks anyway for your opinion!

actually i know a person who wish if she could die while doing the thing she enjoys doing. she died while singing and it is really the thing she enjoys!

H-m-m-m-m a bit of a morbid subject here, and my focus is on life and the ways I can enrich the lives of others, by being a good friend and confidant.
As the other posting alluded to the coming of the Lord, to remove those who are looking fo Him - yeah - that would for sure be my choice.
My mother-in-law always said she hoped she'd go in her sleep, and she did just that.
I knew of a true story about a pastor over in the Kansas City, Kansas area, who preached an outstanding sermon (as the story goes) on of all days the 4th of July, which just happened that year to fall on a Sunday.
The story his church told was that after he preached - he prayed, said "amen" and he hit the floor According to the report, he probably was dead as he hit the floor. Man - what a way to go!!So guess I'll just watch wait and keep on doing what I'm doing, till it's time for me to check out. I will leave the how and when up to the Lord.
