Does you boss upset you?

My boss is a really nice guy who has no clue how to run the place. The nice stops as soon as anyone crosses him, too. That's the kind of boss who needs to be replaced, because morale goes down the tubes rapidly!

When my boss comes in he is always grumpy. I have no idea why but he can't seem to wake up in the morning so he is easily agitated. If I have a question... I might as well answer it myself or risk getting an earful. I hope one day to replace him... but for now... I suck it up and deal with it...

Well, because of the office politics, and I was not part of it, I had a hard time at my job. I was not part of the click. My boss showed favoritism openly. She gnawed and gnawed at me like a beaver with a piece of wood. It was none stop, I was blamed for other's errors, and even when it was showed that it was not me, there was never an apology. rather than admit that one of her click friends did something wrong, it was always pushed on me. I was the cause of all problems, regardless of whether it was in the department I worked in or not.
The end results were I got laid off, and there was no other position in the department available. She made my work life hell, and even now it is hell because I do not have a job, and I am really struggle, and haven't been able to find something yet.
Yes, I had the boss from hell.

I do not care to examine my feelings about my boss, whether I like her or not. For me it is just simply a matter of choice. No boss is perfect, but they are the bosses just the same. So if one cannot stand the boss then we better find another job. It's as simple as that.

Good topic for discussion. A million thanks! Oh well, I never had a good experience with my previous boss. He was the kind superior who was not happy of the good things and achievements I did for the institution. He did not even congratulate me for a job well done. Most of the times, instead of boosting me up, he would put me down. When I would receive invitations as lecturer or guest, there were times he would not want me to go. When I was about to win a prestigious award, he blocked my winning. Most of all, when I wanted just to file a leave, he disapproved it for he wanted me to resign, so I did. Now I guess he is happy without me in the roster, but for sure, I am happier.

My boss is really an altruist. He love to help his subordinates. very simple and helpful person.

I don't like her. She is nonsense, and what she said and did always provokes us. The style she managed, well, it was not a style,it was not management either. She just did, is doing and will be going to do something without thinking thoroughly. She lives in her own inner world.

now,i am a postgratuate,but we all call our professor "boss".to tell the truth,i hate him a little .he does not think of his students,always making us do work for him and delay out graduation .besides,he forces us to do what we do like to .

yeah there are often times that my boss upset my day. This is when she contradicts my ideas infront of my officemates and suppliers. I really hate to be brag as failure. Me and my boss often argue on an issue about work,but on the long run im trying to humbles myself with her because she is my boss and i also treat her as my second mother.
