Better than google!! "CUIL"

I wonder if engines like dogpile will include cuil in the future? I wonder what lies in store for cuil's future. Will it be a search engine king in the ranks of yahoo and google?

I have actually tried this engine for searches related to my wifes illness and have found that it isn't as good as Google in that regard.
I have searched some other things, but the engine is seriously lacking on the searches one can do at this time.
I understand it has more referenced pages, but the results returned are sometimes not terribly related to my specific search.

I like the idea of the IP address not being matched, but then again, I am not worried about the things I search, and you can be sure that somehow, somewhere, the addresses are in fact being tracked. Every keystroke is permanently logged when we use the internet and if need be, this information can be retrieved and matched with the IP address of the person or computer requesting it.

It may have more pages referenced that Google, but I hardly think that Google has been overtaken. Google is the number one search engine, and I doubt that a newbie will come along and overtake it in its first month of existance.

It is definitely better than Google in some aspects. In looks, it kills with the black background (my favorite) and Cuil Logo in it's amazing fonts. As well as the text that you type is in bold letters, which adds to the beauty.

The results are very nice if you are researching, as they give a long description of the site, but there are only about 50,000 results for every topic (Enough for us, but lesser than Google Web Search). There are only 6 results in a page, so you will be constantly changing pages for more results. The results are descriptive, sometimes good, sometimes bad. It will also show you a list of the related searches that you could do in case of an assignment or research.

It automatically detects your browser and shows you a link to add the Cuil Toolbar, though I have not yet tried it. But nice searching, it is definitely useful, and eye-catching.

I looking for it right now.. IT's very attrative.. different of any other search engine that I have used.. I will try it today and will post my experiences.. but, it will be hard to chance my default search engine.. google..

to me it was new,I just came to know it from your post,and visited it immediately,the interface is no doubt good,light so it is loading faster,but I can not make a apple to apple comparison,not sure which one is better,Google or cuil,need more trials.

I've gotta admit that it's pretty, and I definitely like the tabbed categories. Having search results sorted out into categories is a really nice feature when searching a very wide search term. I often do wide searches for inspiration when writing new content, and it's very convenient to have the results sorted out for me into nice, neat niches.

I'm not as happy with the magazine-like interface when I want to be able to quickly scroll through results, but it's a trade-off. I often switch through multiple web browsers when researching, and I've added Cuil to list, but it won't be my default browser for a while.
