would u rather make ur kids watch a movie that u like.....

Definitely one that they choose, providing it is age appropriate (they are 2, 4, & 6). There are a few kids' movies that I enjoy, but they wouldn't be my choice if the kids weren't around. Most of what I like is not appropriate for little kids. I prefer comedies like Office Space or action movies like XMen & Die Hard--none of which is appropriate for preschoolers. So until they are much older, they get to choose every time.

I wouldn't force a kid to watch the movie of my choice. I would only recommend them to watch it. Ultimately I would leave the choice in their hands. all people don't have the same taste and choice and we must understand that. Just as I wouldn't like someone telling me which movie to watch and which not to watch, similarly I wouldn't force anyone else.

I think its fair and square isn't it? I'm not a parent but still I would like to give my opinion regarding this matter.

Hi. Well my children are grown, but I still like to watch a movie that they like when they come over. But I do have young grandchildren so I'll use them as my example. The only way that I would have them watch a movie of my choice is that it was appropriate, and I had been waiting awhile to see it. I have them playing with their toys in the same room. But usually, as a grandmother, the choice is theirs. I feel that I can always watch what I want to at another time or place. Just enjoying their company and pleasure in a film that they like is enough.
