Which anti virus u perfer to avoid virus?????

I use Avast. It is free and has gotten a lot of great reviews on the internet. It has excellent real-time protection and a fantastic scanner. AVG is also another free anti-virus program that is very good.

But I've found out from experience that anti-virus programs are not infallible. My own experience tells me that as I have gotten infected by a number of viruses and spyware throughout the years, even though I don't surf bad sites and have my anti-virus program turned on when I surf the internet.

i tried a free trial of AVG and it messed up my pc and would never uninstall but i have used nortons and mcafee and i like both of them.. i use yahoo spyware detector which has helped out but of course its not something big and is only used to scan not prevent

I used to have Kapersky before. But it failed to recognise one virus. So I changed to Norton 360 and very content with it now.

I use Avira Antivir. I started with AVG but it took way too long to scan my computer whereas with Avira only took an hour. I found that AVG was a bit too complicated and it did not work all that good. I cannot afford a paid one right now and since I plan to get a Mac, there is no sense in paying for one when I can use a free one just as well.

Currently I use two anti-virus softwares. It's Kingsoft and USB killer. It works good.

I just prefer to use Nod32 smart security. I love this antivirus software so much. I didn't get effected with any kind of virus after using this software

i'm using Kaspersky, number #1 Antivirus in the world*i guess* but since using kaspersky i never found viruses.:) But sometimes kaspersky is blocking some program that act like viruses, like usb autoplay. i hope kaspersky fix it soon

i using ESET nod 32 Smart Security for more than i year. i got a fifty year update patch and it get updated daily. so i haven't had any virus attacks till now expect one when i unknowingly installed a adware and it caused some problem before my antivirus detected it and deleted it.. i give a 9/10 to nod 32 if u have a full version that updates regularly...

The best antivirus is avast, it has a free version which is regurlarly put up to date.
It almost detect virii instantly and delete him from your computer.

It also doesn't consume insane quantity of RAM, so it's OK for lower-end computers.

I've used AVG, Kaspersky and Norton before. My problem with AVG is that my pc updates them regularly, but AVG keeps alerting me that its virus database was out of date. And even though all the internet reviewer said that AVG is one of the best antivirus out there, i find it hard to believe. My previous experience shows that AVG failed to remove most of the virus in my pc. Frustated, i switch to Kaspersky Internet Security. But as my pc is old, it keeps hanging up. Norton causes the same problem. So now i'm using Avast. It's free, has this cool feature called On-Access Scanner that scans my e-mail, P2P activities, IM and other additional features. So far i felt very satisfied using Avast.
