How many times have you moved in your life?

Twice. When I got married, I moved in my husband's place then about 3 and a half year later, we moved back to my parent's house to be nearer our workplace. I don't like moving around much. It tires me and my routine gets off.I do like to try and live in the US one time, or Canada or Australia.

I've been moving all the time in my life. My father worked as a gvernment teacher and that brought many transfers. The maximum I remain staying in a single place is for 5 years, that is after he quit his job for business.hmm. Again I am moving a lot as I started my career.

I have moved only twice in my whole life. The first house I can barely remember because I was so young, the second house I remember almost too well because I was there for 11 years, and the house I live in now I have only been in for 2 years. I never moved all that far though. I have lived in the same state (Utah) my entire life. I am moving again next year to go to college, but it will still be in Utah and I will probably stay at the same school for the entire 4 years, so I will remain in this state for a while. But I really want to leave the state and try something new. I have never even traveled out of the country except when I was in my mom's tummy in Mexico, but I don't know if that really counts. Anyways, I want to travel once I am out of school and have some money. I think I want to live in Canada, but I think I should really check it out before I move there. Well, like you I've moved quite a few times in my life already. But it has never been a case like "intercountry or interstate evacuation" like you did.
My parents sent me to study here in the city when I was five years old. They stayed in the province while I started my life here in the city living with my mom's younger sibling and her own family. We're more than five hours apart. Every summer vacation and holidays, I do make trips going home to be with my parents even for a short time. After I graduated from college, I took a review course for the board exam I took more than a decade ago. Then, I began my first job after college in a local bank here in the city. I spent more than five years working for the firm. Then I decided to try my luck working in the province. Luckily, I got my second job in a bank again. I stayed here for one year. I got married and my husband and I decided that I resign from my job so that we could have a baby. I was jobless for more than a year and we resided in my in-laws' house in the province. When our finances dwindled, I decided to resume working with my spouse's permission. Now, we are both working here in the city again.
Personally, I really find it difficult having this setup and I would prefer staying in one place with my own family intact; without having to commute regularly for more than an hour.

I can thankfully say I have only moved once since I was born because we used to live in a small two bedroom one bathroom trailer which was perfect for when I was growing up but when I was like fifteen my parents decided it was too small so they sold it to the nearby farm and bought a three bedroom two bathroom double wide about ten minutes away from where we lived in the trailer,I miss the trailer sometimes but I am happy that we moved.

Well it would appear you like the States or else you wouldn't have stayed for long I guess.

Well I suppose I have moved around a lot too. From England I moved to New Jersey, then Switzerland then Lebanon for a short spell then back to England, then back to Switzerland for a short spell then back to England again and have moved a couple of times around England but I am well and truely settled where I am now. The moves were mainly down to curcumstances but I won't go into that

When I was growing up we moved about every 6 months usually to another state. My dad was in construction and was the "go ahead" guy to set up the job. When he got the job set up, we moved. One year we moved from Michigan to Louisiana back to another town in Michigan. In Oklahoma we moved to 7 different towns in 7 years. Moved to VA in 1977, got married in 1978 and have only moved twice since then, once from the place we were renting into our "new" trailer and then to our house in 1987. All of my kids got to start and finish school in one place, which was something I promised myself would happen. It was very hard to transfer to new schools in the middle of the year.

I lost track of how many times I moved . I have lived in so many different places and we moved to where I am a couple of years ago . I think we will stay where we are now though cause we are looking at buying a house . My husband has family here and I got a good job and i like the people more then where we used to live beforfe .

I have moved so many times in my life there is know way to count them. I live in Michigan, Florida, Washington St, Tn, and back to Washington St. But in each States I couldn't tell how many times I moved from place to place. Happy myLotting.

then moved to Ponce De Leon raceway in 2 Jacksonville, Florida,
moved back to 3 NC, 4 moved to Texas, 5 moved back to NC,
6 moved back to Texas, 7 back to NC, 8 back to Florida, 9 back
to Texas, 10 moved to South Carolina, 11 back to NC,
Got married- moved to 8 different homes in NC before divorcing
X, Moved back to Texas, and then back to NC.

Being raised by a horse trainer can be a hectic life.
