The SPCA may offer low cost spaying, or know who does. Or, if there is a no-kill shelter in your area, they often have that information. As far as who will take the litters, I don't know what to tell you there. Shelters are usually full. You will probably need to find homes for them yourself.

Ask him how he expects to be able to afford to look after so many cats, especially if one becomes sick and you can't afford vet fees when you can't even really afford to get the cats fixed? That's pretty ridiculous! Good luck making him see some sense about this

Wow, good luck finding homes for those babies...all of the cat shelter/rescues in our area are so full that they have been turning down any new cases. Our closest one just sent out an S.O.S. letter to the editor in our newspaper for donations...they have 300+ cats/kittens in their facility and another 100+ in foster homes. Very sad. That same shelter does offer low cost spaying/neutering services so as to help keep the cat population down. If you do not know of any local shelters in your area, try with your veterinarian. They can help you find low cost spaying, or maybe just do it with a discount. The vets want to make their money, but a good vet will help tackle the problem. Also, see if your vet will let you put a "Free Kittens" flyer in their office. Good homes can be found by other patients & sometimes folks from the shelters will see the flyer and take the babies for you. Good luck!

Do a search for "low cost spay and neuter places" on your computer. You will find there are many local places that will do it. It is indeed irresponsible to allwo a cat to have litter after litter of kittens. It is bad for her health. She will be much healthier and happier if she is spayed. Good luck to you and to your cats.
