what book would you recommend to me?

How old are you though? Do you prefer fictional or nonfictional book? Because I love reading too and my favorite book are A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer and The Diary of Anne Frank because they depict real life stories and they serve as my inspiration to pursue more. Currently, I am reading God's Devotional Book it has different edition: for teachers, students, college graduate and so on.

Let's see...with no restraints on genre, I'll say:

The Gemma Doyle Trilogy (A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, and The Sweet Far Thing), by Libba Bray. Set in late 19th century England, the trilogy is about a girl who discovers she has extraordinary powers and a great destiny that is tied to many other people. I really enjoyed them.

The Twilight Series (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn), by Stephenie Meyer. I was the last person on earth to hear about and read these books; I just finished the series last night. A mortal accident prone girl falls in love with a vampire. Chaos, romance, and occasional hilarity ensue.

Anything by John Saul. He's similar to Dean Koontz and possibly Stephen King - horror coupled with a sometimes supernatural twist. My favorites by him are Shadows, Manhattan Hunt Club, Perfect Nightmare, and The God Project.

My favorite book of all time is "The Good Earth" by Pearl S. Buck. She grew up in China as her parents were missionaries. She writes about old China. I love when a book is really good and you learn things also.

I also like "The Secret Life of Bees" - there are bees in it, but that's not the main story.

I'm reading a book right now that is really good so far, "The Art of Racing in the Rain." It's told from the pet dog's point of view. That sounds goofy, but it's not. I think I'm liking this book so much because it is taking me outside of the box, as far as how you think about things.

I can't agree more with youngsweetheart. The Twilight Saga is a wonderful book series, having the genres of romance, suspense, mystery and fantasy. Many people, nowadays, are reading the said series, and is very popular with teenagers. It's a surprise, though, that you don't know Twilight, since it's a big phenomenon in the histroy of novels. Oh, and if you're interested the saga goes on like this: Twilight -> New Moon -> Eclipse -> Breaking Dawn, and the next being-written book, Midnight Sun. I really, really think that The Twilight Saga is a very wonderful book series and I recommend you to read it.

I highly recommend Last Chance Saloon by Marian Keyes, I read it in just one sitting. It was hilarious, heartwarming and endearing characters.
