Nurses and Students

Are there any nurses or nursing students out there? What associations have you joined or feel would be beneficial to me a new student? I want to join an organization that focuses on community health and health care reform. I am getting involved with the Coalition for the Homeless in my area and know there is a great need for those that are being displaced or unemployed in our current economy.
