Why diet?  |

why should people go on diet then complain that their hungy all the time? When they realize that the salad does'nt fill them up they go to Mcdonalds, but then when food is offered to them the use the trem "no thank you Im on a diet", then you say to yourslef after a month my diet did'nt work. I beleive diets don't work eat the right food and exerizing does. What do you think?

1. newlands6801 (331) | 3 months ago | i believe you can almost eat whatever you want to a certain extent as long as you exercise and are real active and maybe just lower the amount of sweets and sugar you eat.for me i would never be able to stick to a diet because somtimes i want to eat and the other i won't eat til dinner.

2. satisfier23 (356) | 3 months ago | you are correct in what you say. What cracks me up is I've seen people in a fast food resteraunt and get a salad then turn around and order a chocolate shake. There goes the diet. As you stated diets do not work.eat right and exercise and you will lose weight. Another thing that makes it hard for women today and in the past is the media blitz showing these very sexy and thin models. Young girls and women get the crazy notion that this is the way they should look to be accepted in society. instead of being happy with themselves they starve themselves to death or take every know substance to lose weight which may work but usualy don't.

But i try to look at the fact that all people are not the same and it takes more for a lot of people to do things than others. To me these people who say things of this nature, are really trying to lose weight, and if it takes them complaining or failing a few times then thats how it has to be. As the slogan says "Ifat first you dont suceed, dust yourself off and try again"

That is a mess of weight. I'm still losing my ounces at a time. Not fast, but still losing. Dark breads, steamed veggies, and leanish meats. I have been told that olive oil is ideal for diets. I have never used it though.

I watch my carb and fat intake and the main thing is portion size. I dont believe in diets either I eat alot of tomatoes and cukes salad and lean crusines and smart one frozen entrees. Weight watchers makes them. Diane
