Mountain View, Calif.: Google Inc is challenging Microsoft Corp with its own Web browser that lets users run many applications that once worked only when installed on local PCs, executives said on Tuesday.
Google introduced a public trial version of its new browser software, Chrome, which is designed to handle not just text and graphics, but more complex computer programs.
Microsoft vs Google, again
Chrome, available in 43 languages in 100 countries at http://www.google.com/chrome,, has been designed to download software and Web pages faster than existing browsers. It even allows users to keep working when one of its windows crashes.
Google set to introduce its own Web browser
This represents Google's long-anticipated head-on attack on Microsoft and its Internet Explorer, which has three-quarters of the Web-browsing market. Google has backed Mozilla Corp's Firefox browser, which holds about 18 percent of the market.

all what you said is really interesting, and thank you for this great post.
it's can give a informations about the great companies in the market, including Google, which is really great and present a products for free, which most need now.
the problems between google and microsoft begun last year i think, when microsoft pretended that google used a technologie at it's videos from Microsoft windows products and google had to pay a lot of money back to Microsoft, then Google did the same when Microsoft included MSN search to the internet Explorer 7 Beta, and banned the Google Search engine, Google inc didn't wait and went directly to the Brussel's Court and Microsoft was forced to remove this Restraction:)
I tried the Chrome Browser this morning, and seems too great, even if there is some Bugs with the Adobe Flash player but all that gona be resolved soon i think cos it's a new project which google work to;) and im really waiting to see the Stable Version.
i wish goodluck to google Inc and im Really a big Fan of them:)

I guess I have to wait until the full version release. Thanks again for this info. If Chrome is better than Firefox, I cannot wait to try it. By the way, I stop using Internet Explorer and decided to use Firefox. I'm satisfy with the browsing speed, but if Chrome is more faster then surely I will try it.
