What version of Firefox do you use? Any intention of upgrading? |
|
Do you usually tend to update your Firefox as newer versions come out? Or do you prefer to stick to your current version? I usually try to upgrade whenever newer versions appear, mainly because I know security breaches are often fixed between releases. However, sometimes the bloat that the browser has obtained over time annoys me, and I am less inclined to update. On the other hand, I am looking forward to an update this time, because Mozilla developers have mentioned that the Javascript engine was to be changed--and it was to be a lot faster.

1. mahjonggg (766) | 3 months ago | I don't use any version of FireFox as I know the more programs are running under the Windows the more Windows can be instable. And Windows has a built-in browser that I can use very well. Good night, Dear Friend, Joe

mahjonggg (766) | 3 months ago | I used FireFox for some months and days and I know (as I was also told) that it has some security holes as well! But if you read how to avoid these holes you will also get rid of these problems successfully. And IE is more compatible with the Windows than FireFox or any other browsers. I am also curious a little bit about the next IE...

2. megaman2000ph (317) | 3 months ago | I do not use firefox because my computer is slow. I use K-meleon because its faster and uses the same engine as firefox. The new update of firefox is fast compare to the older ones. It has a filter for spyware, updating firefox is easy it takes a minute to do that. It is recommend to update as I updated my k-meleon browser because of its improvement of security, bugs and less error:)

DarkDancer (576) | 3 months ago | Hi! FireFox is a web browser very much like (though some (including myself) would say much better) I.E. (Internet Explorer). You should start it up and take it for a spin around the internet. I think you will enjoy the experience. Compare the speed. It is typically far more secure than I.E. also.

| 7. wfyin82 (30) | 3 months ago | I'm using Firefox 2. I have no intention to upgrade to version 3. I read some feedbacks about version 3 and it has a lot of bad comment from users about FireFox 3. It make the com slow and may have internet problem. So far, i am very happy with my current version of Firefox. Match perfectly with my needs. It has more gadgets compare to IE. recommended to all users..

| 9. jpap2003 (91) | 3 months ago | I am a Firefox user for 3-4 years I think. On my laptop, which I use a lot, I have always the latest version of Firefox. On my desktop, which is pretty old, I have the latest version of v2.x.x branch. I am completely happy with Firefox, I've used lots of browsers. From Internet Explorer to Opera, and I've also used Chrome. I didn't like any of them. Firefox may have some problems with the ram (takes too much ram space), but I like the browsers features.
