Do you look at your self in the mirror while you Cry?

Well i never do that. both crying and looking at the mirror if crying somehow. Whenever I cried I used to deposit my head deep into the pillow where no one can see my face not even me.

My step-mother is the same way and I am 30. Kudos for the survival. I don't perceive myself as overly pretty. I am decent looking, and petite in size and have a great smile. She has a way to tear me down as if I am the rotted gut of a dead mule. I tried looking into the mirror when she broke a glass on my cheek and noticed how dark my eyes really were, and how small my face was. I don't usually go and cry in the mirror but I have seen what I look like--and I think I am just fine!

that's really funny and weird to do! but its your preference i won't argue with that.
before i used to do that but im just rehearsing myself for my declamation. i wanted to see how i project myself while crying. but not really when im crying because i have problems or im sad.

Well, there were times in the past when I would look at myself in the mirror when I cried. I do not do it that often now as I do not really like to see how ugly I am when I am crying. Years back, when I was still active in the theater, I would cry in front of the mirror just to check how I should look like when I cry on stage.

My girlfriend used to look at the mirror whenever she cries... The funny part is where ever we are, when she cries, she looks at her foundation mirror.. and talk on herself in the mini-mirror... if ever i'll be crying, no i will never ever look at the mirror... it will just makes me realize of what am i crying for... So that means i'll be more sad... I wanna cry in a dark place or when it rains.. coz no one will see or notice that your crying

I hate looking in the mirror anyway, so why oh why would I want to look in the mirror when I cry!! To see a monster???

Mirrors are not my thnig and I only have small mirrors in the house, mostly tucked in drawers. Only small mirror on display is in the bathroom upstairs. Hate them

Not really. I don't think I have ever wanted to look at my reflection as I'm bawling my eyes out, lol. It's not something I want to see. It's hard enough to cry because it feels like I'm admitting defeat. I know how you are feeling, though. I'm also having people nitpick about how I want to live my life. But I haven't done the mirror thing.

that's what i call vanity... funny but i do see myself in the mirror when i cry... i like seeing myself in the mirror when i cry... i look a lot sexier, hotter and handsomer... it comforts me and make me forget what i am crying for or why i am crying.... i do it partly because i wanted to be a tv personality, an actor or a model.... forgiveness

I did once and will never do it again.

Because when I did, stopped from crying and burst into laughter instead since I saw how funny and ugly I was when I cry.

And from then on, I never let anyone see me when I cry, not even myself!

I wonder how many people look at themselves in the mirror when they cry...haha.

no i don't. but i just want to say that my youngest sister looks at herself in the mirror when she cries to get what she wants. so instead of giving in to her wishes, we end up laughing at her and she'd cry out louder but of course, when the crying turns real, we eventually give her what she wants (if it's reasonable, that is)
