If you could donate a large amount to a worthy cause, what would you choose?

that is a good place to donate money. but for me, i would be donating on charities that help sick children on their medicine expenses. it just breaks my heart to see sick children who suffers much because their parents can't afford to bring them to the doctor.

I would donate to a mission that houses and feeds the homeless. I was stranded once and was forced to take refuge in a mission. They gave me food and shelter and all they asked in return was my time in listening to a short sermon. I have never forgotten the generosity of that place or the people I met in the few days I spent there. It was an education for me, I came away with a new perspective on homeless people

I would choose those NGO's that protect the wildlife.. i love nature and I want the next generation to see it and I want that to be my legacy.

The education system here in my country is very good and so I think there is no real need for me to donate to furthering the education here as the government has done a relatively good job. There are plenty of schools here and there is a law that all children are required to have basic education. Plenty of scholarships and bursaries are available to children of needy families.

So I will not donate to education in my country. But I may go out to other poorer countries in the region and offer the children education. I will buy books, stationary and maybe even build a school for them. I will hire teachers who are experienced and know what is best for the children. Children are our next generation and they should receive good and quality education.

I would donate it to charities which take care of homeless children. Streetchildren are rampant here in the Philippines, you see. It may sound cliche but children are the future of this world. So it's best to give them a better life in any way possible. I would also donate to the education system here in the Philippines. There are a lot of talented Filipino children waiting to be discovered but sadly, due to poverty, they can't go to schools.

If I will donate a large amount of money, I will donate it to a certain foundation wherein I could help thousands of less fortunate people.. Especially the children.. That fund that I will donate can probably help a lot to spend on their education. because education is something that cannot be steal to you no matter what happens. and education is the key to success. happy posting

well if i had that sum of money them i would spend it on children who really need it!
the children i am talking about are the kids who are orphans!! spending some money on them would really help them grow up well mannered!!

I will donate money to JDRF or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation because I want to find a cure for the disease that took my brother from me. CURE DIABETES!

I would have to say poverty and the starving in 3rd world countries. No way should adults and children be starving to death these days. About time this issue was resolved once and for all.

WWF or any organizations that involve in saving or preserving the earth and the animals...
