What do you do when you realzied you're still stuck in the past?

Just give it enough time and surely you would be ok. As I have advised to other friends it all starts with acceptance. If you accept that everything its over and it's really time to move on it would be easier for you to find a new love. Always say to yourself that you deserve someone better and maybe that could help.

don't remember the past .. take care present & look for the bright future .. If past disturb ur present & future .. just ignore it ..

well one lesson you must learn... be tough!... face your fears.....stop thinking about what will happen... dictate the phase ..live your life...sometimes the best move is to move on...if he ignored you you must look for a chance to talk to him alone,if he said hi then thats good... the best way is to discuss what is the problem...if he doest love you anymore then move on...its hard to let go but you cant change that person in an instand.... probably focus on other things first,like your life and your study...after you graduate find a decent job,youll probably met someone, cause if you just stop because of him,nothing will happen,so do your self a favor,just do it..

To stuck to the past is injuring our health. No doubt when memories comes to our mind the past things hurt us. If we have to break our relations finally due to any reasons we must finish our memories i.e photos etc. with and and other stuff. which cause and hurt us.

If I'm in that situation, I would most likely do the first step of moving on. To do that, I would seek help from my friends and family. Also, I would keep myself busy and do many things to forget the past. It's always a good thing to focus yourself in new things and love what you do.

its the situation in case of some people. at times its hard to forget the past. its mostly when the person is so much involved. i do not know why you part away, but its hard to forget whn you listen that person's name and he is with your friend. its sad no doubt. try to engage in activities that keep you happy.

your life must not stop just because of him..
maybe this is the proper time to focus on your studies, on your family and your friends..
there are a lot more for you in the store...

What I do in your shoes? Well.. if he is in your system already even though years have passed already, I think you just have to think it over. What good did it caused you? Nothing. Stop hurting yourself by holding on to the past. Instead, let it go and free yourself from whatever it is that keeps you holding back. Move forward. I knows it isn't easy because I have experienced a similar thing myself. Letting go of a guy I loved and dated for 5 long years because of some silly argument. It happened April 2008. I'm dating someone new now. It's not that I forgot about my ex already. I will always treasure what we had because I know we both gave it our best shot. You should be too because even though relationships end, it doesn't mean that both of you won't care for the other. You can't just stop caring for that person. It's just how you control yourself from not caring too much because he is not yours for the taking already.

It's difficult to accept it but what other choice do you have? You just have to love yourself more. Go back to school already. You shouldn't let one person hold you down from your studies or from fulfilling your ambitions in life. They have their own lives and you certainly have yours. Those memories you had with your ex will always last..but its all in the past. It is possible that it will happen again. If he really loves you, he'll come back to you. He'll be lucky enough if you're still available and there for him when he wants you back. So, live your life again girl. Don't be too hard on yourself just because of some guy. Best of luck.

I understand how you feel, it is not really easy to move one once there is no "end point" in your relationship! Have you talked to him? I guess you need to see him and talked to him so that you will move on, I do know how you guys ended up your relationship but if ever I am wrong in my guess, then give more time to heal! It will be unfair also if you will postpone again another semester due to that, just enjoy hanging out with friends and enjoy doing or playing your favorite sports! idle time will lead a person to just dwell in the past so keep yourself busy and I know one day, you will find the perfect person for you and this past will give you so much lesson!
