A person Who Has Had Many partners= Turn-off? Deal breaker?

For me, there's definitely a limit to how many sexual partners my love interest can have before I just... Stop being interested.:P I'd say for someone around my age (23) no more than 20 is good. Anything beyond that though... Ehh...

I have a friend who has slept with thirty-ish people... And that's just what she can remember. She had a really rough childhood so to escape from it she was out all the time and doing some really hard drugs so she isn't quite sure on the number of sexual partners she's had. On the brighter side, she doesn't do drugs*nearly* as much as she used to and has calmed down quite a bit on the promiscuity.

And yes, there are a lot of double standards between men and women concerning multiple partners. The more guys sleep around, the more credit they're given. With women? Completely the opposite. Which is interesting and maddening. I mean, it's not like there's a handful of girls out there with their legs open to the world's population of men, while the rest of us stay pure and virginal.

Just one more reason why women can't make it in a man's world.

yes, men are proud to be considered CASANOVA. any man would love to have this tag. but if the woman is rich, there is no problem. like the great queen CLEOPATRA. but if she does not belong to a too high society, she has to suffer the brunt. therefore, women should be a lot more careful.. bye and take care..

I think thats really an assumed way of thinking..I've been with MANY ppl over the yrs and I've NEVER met or been with a guy who had any issues with it at all..nor was it necessarily a turn on either....Not that it would matter to me either way since I dont regret any of them and am not ashamed of it...My bf has been with just as many ppl as me and possibly more and I could care less..He's with me NOW ya know...why would I care about the past encounters, its of no importance to me whatsoever and he feels the same way..

I totally agree with your point of view. Men and women who are actually involved in a lot of partners in the past is a turn off. I dont consider it as a trustworthy person. I wouldn't take a risk having relationship with that person as it will just turn into a disaster instead of a romantic affair. Come to think of it how come a person would have a lot of partners in the past if theres nothing wrong with him/her??? I dont think a serious type of person when it comes to a relationship would engaged into a high numbers of partners in the past. Not to mention you arent sure of yourself if that person is free from all kinds of diseases from the past partners he/she was involved with.

I will not think about his past as long as he will not continue collecting experiences during our time..LOL! So, I believed it will not be a turn off for me, It's wonderful also for a man to have various experiences, it will make him more open and flexible but for women, I do know why it's like this for some and even for me, I become judgmental sometimes for women like these!
