And David Tennant is quite popular with Mums, I hear. Everything comes full circle in the Doctor Who universe, I guess.

Come to think of it, my Dad quite fancied Leela. It was sort of disturbing, hearing my father comment on that leather outfit she wore. But, I think it's always disturbing when you remember your parents are people, too.:)

Must be from the new Doctors. Don't like them--too dark for me. I liked the oder, amusing Doctors. Sylvester McCoy was the last one I liked.

Aw, you should give Chris Eccleston a chance. He was adorable with those daft ears. David Tennant is definitely darker, but Tom Baker had a dark side too. When he wanted to be, he could be quite cold and merciless. There was a always a glint of humor involved, but it didn't make him any less complex.

I don't think we got a good enough chance to get to know Chris's Doctor. He was a marvelous Doctor for the short time we got to enjoy his performance. I almost liked him better for the fact that he wasn't conventionally handsome in anyway. I loved the first episode we met him and how he held his hand out to Rose in the mannequin factory. He had that almost idiotic grin down to a science. I would have liked another season of his Doctor.

I loved the episode where he referred to his "daft face." He and Jack had a great chemistry. In some ways I liked it better than with David. Chris seemed to have more authority when telling Jack not to flirt. There was a bit of a rivalry going on. I never felt the same tension with David Tennant. That's the beauty of different Doctors, every relationship changes with a new incarnation.
