stupid tooth fairy!!!!!  | |  The tooth fairy strikes again.
My daughter pulled her fourth tooth today after school, it's the top right onE, now she's mising two in the front top and bottom, so cute. Anyways, she put her tooth in a ziplock bag and placed it under her pillow for the tooth fairy to come and get it tonight. She went to bed around 8:30pm and around 11:00 (1 hour ago) I stealthly entered her room like a ninja cat, gently placed a new crispy 5 dollar bill (due to inflation) under her pillow and slipped away into the dark; but DAMN! I forgot to get the tooth! She just woke up a few minutes ago to go to the bathroom and of course she checked under her pillow! She came to me with the tooth and the money with a puzzled look on her face and said "Mommy, the tooth fairy forgot my tooth, why did she leave it?" I told her that the tooth fairy must have had a tooth emergency and had to fly off quickley before she could grab it. I told her to get some sleep and maybe she'll come back again tonight to pick it up. So what should I do now? Leave a note? Leave another prize? hmmmmmm.

i STILL REMEMBER this....i used to get a letter from
santa every year.
of course, i didn't recognize the writing.
wasn't even surprised that i didn't know how santa wrote.
except it was backhanded.
months later, i saw my mother on the phone doodling.
and it was backhanded! i was shocked and angry and sad.
you held your cool in the face of what could have been a
real disaster! kudos to you.
i think the rules of tooth fairydom is not to pay for a mistake.
