 This past weekend I took my 9yr old daughter to her first rock concert and she had a blast. It was my first rock concert too. Made me wonder what age everyone here was when they went to thier first rock concert.
What age were you when you went to your first rock concert? Who did you see? How did you enjoy it?

many of us would go up on the grass
behind the cow palace and see anyone we wanted.
we couldn't see too well but the sound was awesome!
rolling stones, rod stewart, metallica, pink floyd
to name a few.
i saw joan baez and dylan as she lived in woodside, CA
just south of SF. near palo alto.
i was in school and couldn't afford a ticket.
i was in my mid-20's.
what concert did you two attend?

| 2. redkathy (1632) | 3 months ago |  It was over 30 years ago, I saw Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and the platters. I ahve been to probably 75 to 100 concerts in my life. In fact, when I was 8 months pregnant with my second son, I went to see Billy Idol. Hubby and I took our boys when they were about 8 years old. The youngest has been to quite a few with us including Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, Axel Rose, and Aerosmith. He always had a blast. He loves music, was in a band in high school, studied voice and is self taught on several instruments. Music is a great experience and very good for kids to be involved in.

BlinkMe64 (111) | 3 months ago |  My first concert was last year for my birthday me and my friend went to see Angels & Airwaves and it was amazing and just a wonderful day for me, then that same week I went with my brother to see Senses Fail the day before thanksgiving and that was also a really good show since they were playing with New Found Glory.
