favorite fantasy creatures  | |  There are a lot of fantasy creatures out there: dragons, elves, dwarves, ogre, mermaids/merman, faeries, witches, wizards, talking animals, shape shifters, vampires, werewolves and the list goes on and on. Share which creature/character is your favorite and why? which do you look forward to encountering when reading fantasy books?
Mine would have to be wizards and witches for they wield great powers though I've read some where the wizard don't get his magic right. And second to that would be the dragons, for me, they're the mightiest of all the beast.

There was a book I've read where the only remains of the dragons are three eggs, and it required the sacrifice of life to bring it to life. I think it was The Game of Thrones...
