 Have you ever bought something home in a box and have in your hurry to get the item up and running broken it, whilst trying to unwrap it or assemble it?

3.  rjscott (2639)  | 3 months ago |  This one took me back about 111 years to my seventh birthday, Wolfie. And that's a lot of years to go back.
On that day my parents gave me a record. It was MY record, all MINE! I begged them to let me take it to school so that I could have my teacher play it for "Show and Tell," permitting me to let everyone in my class know that it was MY BIRTHDAY! It was MY day. (Later in life to be viewed as bigfuckingdeal)
My parents gave in, admonishing me to be careful with MY RECORD for MY BIRTHDAY!
I had to walk nearly a mile to the school bus stop and I walked very carefully, record neatly tucked under my armpit.
When I got to the bus stop, my fellow students, including two of my cousins who were my age, were converging at the stop from all directions.
One of my cousins asked me what was under my arm. I told him that it was MY RECORD for MY BIRTHDAY!
He grabbed it from its place of safety and as I reacted, trying to grab it back from him, he dropped it and accidentally stepped on it:
CRAAAASSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH!
MY RECORD for MY BIRTHDAY never made it to my second grade Show and Tell.

I remember my friend buying me one of these brilliant guns that made different noises and flashed when you pressed the trigger I wanted to show it off to my mum and so I got out of my friends car and ran up to the front door and I tripped and fell and landed on my gun and it broke in two I was heartbroken! | |

| 4. riderinlife (29) | 3 months ago |  don't ya just love it! yes i have broken thing's right outta the box, just recent and braclett - a friend gave it to me for mother's day gift and i was tryin to get it loose and i pulled it right a part so now i'll be visiting the jewler to get it fixed ........ did i mention i a have taken this braclett once already to the jewler, oh well it was a very sweet gift ( white saffiers) but it may have to go back in the box nad STAY THERE FOR SAFTEY .................;-)

5.  suspenseful (13393) | 3 months ago |  Our niece's boyfriend gave us a sculpture while we were in British Columbia visiting my brother-in-law and sister-in-law on our way to Alaska. Well we put the sculpture in the luggage, and got on the plane to go back to Winnipeg. What happened, is that we should have carried it on so it was broken in two pieces. Did not want to repair it, after all it just was a modern sculpture so we put it in the garbage. It is a good thing it was not a Royal Doulton figurine or one of those Hummel figures of the kid with the dog, or I would have been really upset.

I remember going away abroad taking my camera and the shots were really bad and it's too late all those memories lost! | |

We read through the manual, tried to play the dvd and nothing, emailed the company who had sent it and then she read troubleshooting at the back and realised that we hadn't realeased the mechanism catch. It was a lateral thigh trainer and boy are my legs aching now, it tells you how many calories you are burning at the same time as exercising too. I am aching in places I never knew I had muscles, in fact it is a pain in the ar*e LOL. Ellie:D
