Our dog gets really lonely when we leave for our jobs. Any ideas?  | |  I was wondering if we should get him a friend,ie another dog or cat to help keep him company while we are gone. All he does when we leave is lay on the couch looking out the window for us to return. Any ideas? God bless Leofa

That will help alot.bless his little heart.Not much else you can do but those things unless you have family or a friend where you could drop him off.we have 5 dogs and various other animals so this is not a problem! but we did have a lone yorkie who we left the tv on for at first and then we got her some company.She was a totally changed dog after that and for the better too.Not so hyper and attention seeking to the point of madness and she stopped running off when the gate was opened too. good luck
