That is a very good point, on Crewbux the majority of the banners are Crewbux's own, ironically about upgrading too some of them, does leave you thinking doesn't it, it's not a case of if it's a case of when they go now!

Exactly! I have noticed this thing on many of the sites except 1, and that site is NeoBux. I have never seen any ad about themselves. So, I can say that NeoBux will stay and the others? well I am not able to say anything about the others!

Eversince I can remember you are promoting sites you received payments-you inspired me a lot to click even if I felt so sad coz it aint easy to reach payout.

Now that somehow there are some sites I reached it then hear this from you makes me wonder if Im at the right track...but since Im not using my own money, Ill give it another month and if fail-Ill go back to a regular job waiting for me in the city.

All I can suggest is to continue on the sites you belong to which seem worthy (if you find them as many are missing today too) and JUST CLICK without investing any money in them. This whole situation will leave a big echo on the PTC industry and something will have to happen to make it work properly or stop completely in my opinion. We just have to wait, click and be careful

I agree with mysdianait. Let's just click and wait. Another thing is when you reach your payout limit, directly cashout. Your money is safer at your alertpay of paypal account.
However I do not really believe PTC rage will vanish, maybe the most of the know and trusted sites. But it will come back in another shape, where you still have to click, watch and get paid.

Just makes me wonder though-how come PTR isnt affected by these chaos...Im keeping matrix mail and wordlinx these sites have been around at least 3 years.

I am in a state of limbo brought on by disgust. There have been TOO MANY things happening over the past weeks for it be coincidence. It seems more like a conspiracy. I shall be doing my homework today and taking the cobwebs off those older places where I have never given up, just been less interested of late.
We both know of one admin who would never scam a soul and I feel slightly sad that I had even set him to one side.
I have not lost anything yet but I am calling a halt where I feel that could be the case. Until I can 'feel' what's really going on I shall not promote again. I have not lost faith, I have gained a sensation of sheer aversion. This of course could pass and indeed I hope it will, though I doubt it will be a 'bux' site which will be the cause.

I have one question which you could think about for a minute:
Remember Apairof? They never closed. They were one of the best in many people's opinion. Could it be that they are just hanging on in there waiting for this moment?

I didn't like Apairof, I had to keep chasing them for my money, it took about 4 attempts and finally they paid up, I would never use them again to be honest. Did you read the admin about nocturnalemails. Dolphin and Balloon are my two best sites which pay within 24 hours via Paypal they are my main earners and extremely reliable. I always click with our mutual friend he has so many sites running now it is hard to keep up. I also click with Marie, his protege! She is my sister and we talk regularly and I click on her sites too and she is 200% reliable so at least I have some very healthy backups if it all goes belly up. But only time will tell, but I will certainly be stopping any more upgrades, referral purchases etc. Mind you Isabelmarco is storming on at the moment for me, earning minimum $2 a day! with them so I am so hoping that they continue.

I too am 'earning' on Isabel very well too. I have not invested there but I joined when there were only 500+ members. I think the economic crisis is a different matter.
There are too many crooks involved directly and indirectly in the ptc industry now in my opinion. There will be the cause of an even worse economic situation for users who get conned into investing with them.

Do you know what the most worrying thing is, the owners of PTC sites can close with our money then start up another PTC site and how do we know they are the same ones? I was just told that the admin for Crewbux and Thinkbux are the same, so if one goes down they both will! And you must have noticed that most of Crewbux's banners are their own!

I am aware that more than half willnot pay. Those that eventually might will not be true to the Terms stated on their sites.
We, the clickers, have to do as they say and if we can stick it out and not invest we just might win.

satyakam my intent is NOT to frighten but to make presnet and future clickers aware of the risks we are running. I feel we must only click and be aware that we are probably wasting our time on many sites.

I tried some paid to click sites and most are just penny anny. On my main profile is a link to a site that I have been involved in since mid June. So far it is as it claims. If you are interested go to the link on my profile and check it out.

You sadly are experiencing problems on yet another site. I joined that one when it first opened and lost my membership when it was mysteriously 'hacked'. I did not return and from what I read I'm glad Imade that choice.
Cut your losses and do NOT invest any offline money in NAY site however good it appears to be. Appearances can be so deceptive!

I will not stop clicking either! They would win in that case and for themoment I am winning as I have never invested in any of them except for re-investing earnings.

I am NOT a quitter in any circumstance in life but if the road gets difficult I change direction.
I will NOT be promoting NAY site at all from now on. How can I know who is 'trusted' and what the heck makes a 'trusted' site in the first place.
There are more of the topsites makingmoney from sales through renting or selling referrals now than selling ads which was what was supposed to be their intent in the first place.

I do not advise to stop but I DO ADVISE to THINK before investing in any of the sites from now on and I also think that if serious, veteran clickers contine to recruit new referrals among those who are starting their PTC adventure then we should at least WARN them to be careful so as not to be in the same boat as many conmen who are site admins.
