Are you a good swimmer?

im a pretty good swimmer

I dont know how to swim but really want to learn. It seems true that when you grow up you lose the nimbilness and agility you had when you where young.

I am not a fast swimmer at all. I can swim good, but I just can't do it fast. I have had some lifesaving and water survival training. I know what to do if I end up in the water or need to help someone else. I am not scared of the water at all. I am actually pretty comfortable in the water. Swimming speed has never been my strong point, but I have done the mile-swim (a Boy Scout requirement for a couple of merit badges) at least three times. It is amazing what completing the mile can do to boost your confidence in the water. The first one was the hardest. The other two were not nearly as bad, because I knew I had done it once and that I could do it again. I would actually like to try it again now just to see if I could complete it...

I am not a good swimmer at all! But I can swim in the pool or fresh water, I'm just scared to swim in the ocean because I'm too scared that I can't go back to shore because of the big waves.

No I am not a good swimmer because I believe to be one it takes a lot of practice, so if you are wondering why you are not as good as before maybe you lack some practice. the sports I was in when I was in high school was track and field and there was a time that I am competing and doing good but I lose control of my physical activities and I don't exercise often my breathing capacity decrease and so is my running, I am easily out of breathe and easily tires. It is not that you lose the skill, but you just need some practice.

No unfortunately i dont know how to swim yet but id love to learn because id look good in a swim suite and i love the water i always wanted to learn to swim but a good and inexpensive swim class is hard to find where i live.
