What do you think of Mao Zedong?

My father was very aware about the history of movements in China, he told me that Mao is a great man. He brought China together and even he ruled China with the hard line, I think it was for the country's own good. You should be able to understand that China is a big country with too many people in it. Many people were uneducated because of the war and the revolution movement, so that democracy is a crazy thing to be done that time. He has done the right thing to get China together, and his strict way to make it happen was actually work.
