how many of you played in rain and seriously got ill?

Being out in the rain does not get you ill. Viruses and bacterias make people ill. Rain is just rain--water. Now if you live in a highly polluted area, I don't know what the rain may be pulling down out of the sky, but otherwise, it is not the rain in itself that makes you sick. If your immunities are low due to lack of rest or having just gotten over something else, getting chilled in the rain might cause you to get sick from something already in your system. People who tend to start sneezing and coughing right after being out in the rain....that is not from the rain. Illnesses do not come on that suddenly. It takes some incubations period for the viruses and bacterias to take effect in the body. So if you happen to get sick right after being out in the rain, it is either psychosomatic or it is coincidence.
