Is housework more enjoyable while listening to music?

Yeah i find it much easier to do things having music on in the backround, especially homework. I said it to some classmates before and they also agreed with me, i even have music on in the backround right now:) Red hot chili peppers - Aeroplane (Just incase anybody wants to know) ha

I always listen to music when I'm cleaning house. I usually have upbeat music on, and it just seems to go faster. For some reason, I seem to get a lot more done in a shorter amount of time, then if I don't have it on. I also turn off the tv when I'm cleaning, if I don't, I end up seeing or hearing something and sit down to watch it, that doesn't get anything done lol

I actually usually have the TV on when doing housework, if it's a really good show, I clean during commercials. I try to put on some of my favorite movies, so I know them and don't have to commit to sitting and watching them and can do other things.

I like music very much and for me music is the best option to be full with enegy while doing any work.Not only homework but many other things like internet browsing,assignment work of college,newspaper reading cleaning the room etc are very enjoyable with listening music.What happens is that when you listen music and do other things then it makes you feel relaxed you can do the work more efficiently and fastly.Only the works which requires a little bit concentration must be done without music otherwise you can do any other work with listening music.

I definately think housework is more enjoyable when you have music turned on - it makes the time go by quicker.

Just remember to turn it up extra loud when you are vacumming, you don't want miss your favorite song while you're sweeping the floor.

I think it makes cleaning a little more tolerable and helps to pass the time faster. I also think it helps relax the mind and keeps it off of other stressful things.

A resounding yes. Especially if you pop a cd with songs that you really like. You'll find that things are easier to do. I'm actually like this and would prefer to listen to music while working.

yes, its more fun to do the chores with music on because it makes you forget how many have you accomplished and how many are yet to be done. it works for me too. its like hitting two birds in one stone. you enjoy the music and finished the chores without feeling grumpy and irritable. it is also a way of energizing for me so i can face more stressful and complicated chores with my batteries charged.

i like to listen to music when i clean it makes times go by faster and it seems you get the job done quick too.
