It's not looking to good regarding the Friday the 13th remake...

I was upset to find out that they were remaking this classic. Now I'm even more upset after watching a little interview about it. It looks like they are changing it so that the mother isn't the killer. What? That's changing the back story! Everyone whos watched the movies know that the first movie it WASN'T Jason who was the killer, it was his mom. Another change is that Jason is a walker. He's slow. Now they are making him fast and a runner. WTF? Talk about changing a movie! I'm so sick of these remakes that rewrite the movies history! It happened with Rob Zombies Halloween. Don't get me wrong, I like Zombie as a director but he changed the story. Michael Myers was raised by loving parents. The movie was showing that a homicidal maniac can come from a loving family. But Zombie changed it to make it like he came from a dysfunctional family and that he killed his stepfather. Uhmmmm, in the original he didn't have a stepdad and the only person he killed was his older sister.
