What is the difference between apple cider and apple juice?

Well the taste for a start..apple juice is just the juice from the apples but apple cider is more like wine in taste, a cheap wine so i eould think maybe it is processed more like wine and although the taste is horrible it is good for many things...

Apple juice is just that, apple juice, and cider is apple juice after some fermentation so it has some alcohol and a bit of gas. Excellent ciders are made in France, British isles and northern Spain. In some of those regions people prefer that better than champagne. After tasting it I understand it perfectly.
