Ever gone for a blind date?

I never do that and i think i won't do that either in the future, since being with someone that i don't know at all will make me uncomfortable, specially if the girl whom i'm gonna date is a quiet person..it will make the situation feels more intimidating for me, so i'll better date someone i know:)

I have had several. When I was growing up I was very overweight. Back then there were party lines and I used to talk to guys on them. Well of course I wasn't going to tell them I was overweight so I met some guys being overweight and it was a disaster. One guy I actually saw his mouth drop when he sees this overweight chick come out of the car. The other time I became a "friend" only. When I got older I lost some weight then went on a blind date with a lawyer who was very nice to me but honestly told me to grow up, I was living too fast and I needed time to find out who I was. Hmmm... I met several other guys because I used to work for the phone company so it was nice to meet and talk to guys but then when I actually saw them or they saw me forget it. I think when I lost weight those were my best times to meet guys. I think that I wouldn't mind going on a blind date, but I'm married. It's only awful when you take it seriously. Since I was always the one arranging my own blind dates when people called the phone company.

yes I went on blind dates. One I was so bored I thought I would cry. I couldn't wait to get home. one other one was bad we didn't like each other at all. but we were being nice right up to the point where he got up to use the restroom I left out of the front and guess who I ran into in the parking lot? yes your right him he had gone out the back door. We looked at each other and started laughing. We are still friends and nothing more. He never did get married or can he keep a girlfriend long. So that is mine. Have a nice day

yes i did go out on a blind date. it was fun but i wasn't attracted to my date so i didn't agree on a follow up date.

I went on a blind date with someone that I met through a friend of mine from high school. I was very nervous, but we ended up "clicking" and spent the whole night just talking and getting to know each other. It was about 4:00 am when I finally got home. Well, we dated for about 2 years and then we got married. We are still married, we will celebrate our 19th anniversary next month and we have four children.



So, you see - sometimes blind dates do work out and you can have a future from them!

once. and ill never do it again! i think i was about 19 years old. and the next door neighbors, very long time family friends, set me up on a blind date with a guy they worked with. they said he was nice, funny, good looking, polite.

he was decent looking lol..though thats not a big deal. he picked me up outside my apartment and said he was taking me to a drive-in (yeah way back when lol!) for a movie that the neighbors told him i wanted to see.

at the theater he was making jokes and i was laughing, so as the movie started he moved closer. also fine and dandy. about 1/2 way into the movie he opens up the M&M's we got and proceeds to only hand me the green ones. which i thought was a joke. (a common school-age myth is that the green ones make a girl horny) so i laughed at him and went back to watching the movie. he waited about 15 minutes then put his arm around me and started nuzzling my ear! i said "dont you think thats a bit fast, not to mention presumptuous?" he laughed and said that he knew the green ones were making me want him!!! i laughed and pulled away and looked at him-fully expecting it to be a joke and a way to ease tension or something - he was totally serious!! i think he truly thought that the green m&M's were making me hot and bothered for him!!i moved over as far as i could and said "i think its time for you take drop me off at my apartment" (i didnt want to say "i think you should take me home" for fear that he would misinterpret it lol)

he immediately got all pissy and drove like it all the way back to my place. when i got out and started walking away, he yelled "b*tch" and then spun his tires and everything when pulling out of my driveway.

i still couldnt believe it. i finally talked to the ladies that set me up for the date the next afternoon. i told them exactly what happened and they couldnt believe he acted like that! then they said it was his first date EVER!

huh..wonder if he kept trying to same stupid things on any dates he had later!
nope..never again a blind date for this lady! LOL!

All I can say to those people who never went for blind date is meet that person at public places and not at all in lonely places specially if you found that person from virtual world internet.
