I have never known anyone to get the gift card. It must be some kind of scam.

I have signed up for these offers and the only thing I have ever gotten out of it is a ton of SPAM e-mails. I have never gotten a free gift card for my efforts. I believe it is a scam to get your e-mail address or to get you to buy something from them.
