Citlapram - Anti Depressents Anyone been prescibed them?  |

 I went to the doctors and explained that I felt the prozac i have been on for 3 years finally feels like it has not effect on my mood, I felt that recently my moods have become uncontrolable I have been tearful and felt as if i totallly dont know myself i have felt aggressive and had unimaginable thoughts. The DR then prescibed me 20mg of Citlapram to see how I would get on and since i have felt calm and more subdude has anyone else used them?

| 2. LisaJay27 (11) | 2 months ago |  I am currently taking prozac (fluoxetine) for depression. I was prescribed it after the birth of my son, but I have been on meds several times in my life. I have taken Paxil, Lexapro and one other med that I can't remember the name of. I have been taking prozac for about 3 months now and I am not noticing any difference. I realize that I am not going to be happy all of the time, and that the pill is not going to make me forget the past, but I haven't noticed any real difference. The depression, sadness and crying spells are all still there. I don't know at this point if I am even going to go back to the doc for a different prescription. I feel like I am fighting an uphill battle...

I'm on Wellbutrin now it was great for the energy but I sure can't control what I'm going to do next and it scares me because my children are 2 and 5 and I don't want to do anything bad to them. But oviously this one isn't doing anything for me. A medicentre doc gave me a mood inhibitor but I'm too scared to take it until I see my doctor. Go see your doc maybe you also need a mood inhibitor and I bought a go lite also to help but I only bought it today and I'm having a real bad day. | |

3.  4ofmyown (313) | 2 months ago | I have taken Citalopram for a couple of years and thought it worked great...I recently switched to prozac because I plan on becoming pregnant in the next few months and it is one of he few meds the Dr. will let me take and I am on a very low dosage at that. I hope the medication works as well for you as it did for me. | |

| 5. teetee195 (781) | 1 month ago |  Citalopram is amazing it's a calming pill I have been perscribed them for Anxiety and yes I agree they are a really easygoing no side effect pill.
Although when I first got them I found that I was really really tired all the time once my body got used to them it was better I wasn't so tired.
