Animal Abuse. What would you do for your pet??? | | I have a story to share with you about my little sisters dog and my cousin. My sisters are 11 and 13 and they have a sweet two year old lab that is very good but has a problem with cats. My mother and sisters needed the dog to stay somewhere for the weekend because they where going on a trip so my mother asked my cousin. My cousin has a cat and a small dog so while my sisters dog was at my cousins she started chasing the cat ( the dog not my cousin) and my cousin got so mad she kicked the dog in the face and pushed her down the stairs. I was absolutly horrified that someone could do that. Even worse she annonced this at the dinner table during christmas dinner. Well my family is moving to Texas and has me watching their dog. I have two labs and thought they would get along great. But I guess my sisters dog is not a pet freindly gal. I didnt hurt her or anything even after she attacked my poor babies. I seperated them but I would not go as far as hurting an animal. What would you do for your pet, how far would you go?

The vet said he'd suffered severe trauma that caused his ear drums to rupture. His last owner said he wanted to get rid of the dog because he was killing chickens (they guy had 12 dogs, he didn't know which one for sure was killing them) so we think his last owner beat him terribly. He has been around guineas (farm birds) and has never tried to hurt them, so the last owner was wrong. The dog is deaf now due to the ruptured ear drums.

There was one I watched on The Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan-The Katrina Dogs-wherein owners left their pets behind and suffered the consequences. Some dogs died from the flood because they were still ion their leash. So sad:(
