Personally I really really loved it up until the point where it became a soap opera. After David's friend Scott shot himself at his birthday party by accident while trying to act like a cowboy. Before that happened it always had a really positive message and lesson to learn.
As a soap it wasn't nearly as good and quickly turned into a crap fest with all walsh's absent from the show.

| | | | | | 1.  thinkingoutloud (1386) | 2 years ago |  I used to watch 90210 back in the day... lol... and my girls (aged 16 and 13) got hooked on watching it recently on one of the satellite stations that re-runs the old shows. They really like it. I agree with you that Scott's birthday party was a pretty ridiculous storyline. That mother of his... ugh... she drives/drove me nuts!! I often found Brandon way too "preachy" and his storylines too glossy but, overall, it's a light, entertaining show :D

One of my daughters asked me, "Does everything ALWAYS have to work out right for that guy????" I laughed. But it's true... Brandon could total his car... or, for example, do you remember the ep where he went out to some underground party with Emily Valentine and she gave him an equivalent of extasy? He left his car there and went back for it the next day and it was totally gutted? Good old Jim and Cindy didn't even really give him a hard time -- in my house, I would have been staring at the four walls of my bedroom well into my adult life for doing that LOL | |

He was such a good kid of course they gonna cut him slack when some insane stalker girl slips him drugs at an egg party.. after Brenda tells them she might be pregnant and travels to paris and sneaks off to mexico with dylan. | |

I still watch the reruns and I probably will until they aren't showing anymore. And the show was never the same after Brenda left.

All the while being totally high and mighty...getting mad whenever Dylan found someone else to be with. I couldn't stand Kelly. | |

I missed watching Shannon Doherty on tv on a regular basis; along with her "brother" in the tv series. I forgot his name but I had a crush on her "brother" then and until now, I still could remember his innocent face and pleading eyes. He was one of the reasons I loved watching it. And, I really wanted him and Shannon to have a romantic relationship off-cam. I wanted them to be a pair because they seem to look good together.
Anyway, it's great news that they're going to bring it back but I doubt if I will be able to watch it, because my husband usually dictates the program we view at home.
