Arbonne Skin Products - Any Opinions? |
|
Someone I know has begun selling Arbonne International Skin Care products. While I would like to support her by buying products from her, I have a really hard time spending that kind of money on lotions, shampoos, etc. unless it is TRULY worth the price. Can anyone attest to the high quality of these products? Are they really worth it?

1. MakDomMom (1627) | 2 years ago | I have never tried these products - but I have heard that they really do work. They really zap the dry skin that is so prone in the winter time.

2. ryleesmama (507) | 2 years ago | I too have heard nothing but great things about these products. They are almost all natural. They have less than 1% preservatives in them. You can go to www.arbonne.com to get more info.

Hmmmmm (1532) | 2 years ago | Yes, I have visited the Arbonne website, but I was hoping for some responses from people who have actually used these products and could provide first-hand experiences (positive or negative). Thank you for sharing what you have heard though!

3. simran1430 (1599) | 2 years ago | well all products are the same in cosmetics, is there a cream that was developed with some technology and things that really made the women look 20 at 40, no, so its all the same and its only hype that they use this and that, it dies down eventually .

Hmmmmm (1532) | 2 years ago | Thank you for your response. Can you explain how my friend is offering me the products at a 35% discount? Is she not making a profit then? She gave me some shampoo samples (which I have yet to use) and I currently have her hand cream tester. What I like so far is that the products are unscented (I don't like smelling like food), and the hand cream doesn't turn into water as I am applying it. What I have found with shampoo is that whenever I use a new shampoo, I always get great results the first time, but after that it really doesn't matter what I use. I typically buy a different shampoo every time I go to the store.

cassidy22 (2671) | 2 years ago | Yeah, your friend is selling it to you at the price she buys it at, so she isn't making any profit from you. She's a good friend!!

reinydawn (2819) | 3 months ago | Hmmmm - I used to have the same problem with shampoos. The first time you use it it gets rid of the buildup from the previous shampoo, but then it starts it's onw residue buildup. I would use 2-3 different shampoos during the week to keep that from happening. I now use Melaleuca products and don't have that problem. I know Arbonne is kinda like Melaleuca (but more expensive from what I hear) so it might work better for you. Give the shampoos a try and if you find they aren't working for you, give me a holler and I can send you a sample of what I'm using.

| 5. vstorm (54) | 2 years ago | I am also an Arbonne rep. and the reason I started was because I tried the products just to support a friend and ended up loving them and becoming a rep myself. You really can tell a difference when you used Arbonne products verses anything else. My skin looks great now and it feels great too. The shampoo is wonderful. I've tried a lot of them and everyone (except the weight loss chews, I didn't like). My family loves the products also. During my business, I have only run into 1 person that didn't like them. The products are all pure and safe and that's a big thing for some people, me included.

Hmmmmm (1532) | 2 years ago | My friend gave me a bunch of samples so I could try before I bought. I have to say that I really didn't like the texture of the tea tree oil shampoo at all. I poured it into my hand and it very quickly fell right out of my hand and onto the floor of the shower. However, I loved the conditioner. I was able to stretch it a lot more than any other conditioner I have ever used. I usually need about four packets of samples to condition my hair. I only needed two of this stuff. I was pretty darned pleased, and ordered some conditioner from her as a result.

| 6. tdferrari (5) | 2 years ago | Even though Arbonne's products are concentrated, I think they are a little pricey. I guess that is why I couldn't really sell them and decided to start a gourmet scented candle business. I do use all of their products and really like the weight loss products and the Phyto Prolief (natural progesterone cream). It was a lifesaver when I was coming off the depo-provera.

| 9. KraZyDaIZy (35) | 1 year ago | I have been introduced to Arbonne several times over the last few years. I just recently decided to become a consultant because everyone I know that first hears of the products, is turned off by the cost... but after they TRY the products for a few days, they just cannot believe the drastic difference in their skin and their minds are immediately changed. It is really amazing. Arbonne products are life changing. You buy all these "affordable" products in the store that are FULL of animal bi-products and harsh chemicals, and you put this on your body... which in turn, the effects of prolonged use of these products has given the USA the unfortunate label of being #1 in the world for Cancer and rare disease... why? Because we are contaminating our bodies! So, how affordable is it really? It is much better to use a product that is safe for you, uses NO harsh chemicals and NO animal bi-products. You really need to weigh out the options and make a decision if your health is worth a few extra dollars. Or you may want to consider investing $30 to become a representative yourself and save 35% off the retail price so you really wont be paying more for the product than what you already spend now. You have to look at it as you are re-directing the money you are currently spending, because you will no longer need to buy the lotions, hair products, powders, vitamins, etc... that you are buying now. You have to think also, most things that are Swiss made are top of the line... Arbonne is a swiss company that is about 32 years old... they must be doing something right. Now you have to decide! If you buy a car that you LOVE, the first thing you do is call your best friend... what are you going to do... BRAG ABOUT YOUR NEW CAR and EVERYTHING you LOVE about it, right? SO why not do that with a product that is not only GREAT, but also beneficial to both of you...

10. reinydawn (2819) | 3 months ago | From what I have heard, their products are pretty good. But I did find a website - which I can't seem to locate now - that shows how "natural" a lot of products out there are. I don't think Arbonne got a very good rating. I'll keep looking for that site and post it for you. Aside from being expensive though, I have heard only good things from people that hav used it.
