Anh-Tuan "Cao Boi" Bui was born on April 10, 1964 in Vietnam and was a Vietnam War refugee who later moved to the U.S. He studied at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is very passionate about sports. In fact, he is the world-record holder in Marathon Softball where he played for 100 hours while serving in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He is currently prelate of the Loyal Moose Lodge #1470 in Christiansburg, Virginia, and a member of the 82nd Airborne Division Association, Boy Scouts of America and Cub Scouts of Vietnam. Prior to Survivor, he worked as a fisherman, photographer and a car salesman, and currently runs a nail salon with his wife.
