Generation Debt!

As one girl said, if I can't pay it I'll just declare bankruptcy. Does she think that is the easy way? Has anyone ever told her that she will be forever barred from credit, even to buying her own home, business, car, or any sort of long-term financial transaction by doing this to herself? Who will ever want to marry her when she owes more than she will ever be able to pay back? Has she thought of that?Certainly those institutions offering credit cards to young people should shoulder blame....but so should idiotic individuals who think having a card gives them carte blanche to spend on the never never.
