Romanian Chocolates

All of this are produced by Cadbury Romania under the name of Excelent products and they are in general cheap. The"ROM" Chocolate is one with tradition produced for over 20 years (perhaps much more).

The Endless Column - Sculpture

This masterpiece was realized by the famous Romanian sculptor, Constantin Brancusi. Together with "The Table of the Silence" and "The Gate of the Kiss", the "Endless Column" it forms what is known as Brancusi's Sculptural Ensemble, located in Targu Jiu, Romania.

Romanian Coat of Arms

In the first quarter, Wallachia’s coat of arms, an aquila or holding in its beak a golden Orthodox cross, accompanied by a golden sun on the right and a golden new moon on the left, is displayed against an azure background. In the second quarter, Moldavia’s traditional coat of arms is shown, gules: an auroch head sable with a mullet of or between its horns, a cinquefoil rose on the dexter and a waning crescent on the sinister, both argent. The third quarter features the traditional coat of arms of Banat and Oltenia, gules: over waves, a golden bridge with two arched openings (symbolising Roman emperor Trajan’s bridge over the Danube), wherefrom comes a golden lion holding a broadsword in its right forepaw. The fourth quarter shows the coat of arms of Transylvania with Maramureş and Crişana: a shield parted by a narrow fesse, gules; in the chief, on azure, there is a black aquila with golden beak coming out of the fesse, accompanied by a golden sun on the dexter and a crescent argent on the sinister; on the base, on or, there are seven crenellated towers, placed four and three. Also represented are the lands adjacent to the Black Sea, on azure: two dolphins affronts, head down.

Peles Castle

Today an hystorical monument, Peles Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle place in an idyllic setting in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia. The castle was built between 1873-1883 by King Carol I of Romania.

Alina Vacariu

Alina Vacariu is an actress and model. Among other work, she was Romania's Model of the Year in 1998 (at age of 14), which later resulted in signing a contract with Elite Model Management. She has modeled bikinis and lingerie, such as The Finish. She starred in Time Warner Cable Commercial "Roommate Wanted". She also posed for September edition of Stuff in 2001.

This is the "Silence table" in Targu Jiu, Romania. It is an important monument built by well known Constantin Brancusi.
