Final Fantasy X-2

One of the games my sister played on our PS2 and surprisingly, she never did finish the game even though she seemed to have already in her possession each charater's strongest dress spheres. There was this mini-game in that title that got me frustrated just by looking at her try and try. A shooting game wherein Yuna had to hunt for monsters while there was a time limit and she had could switch her ammo from single to dual shots or a strong one that I couldn't recall. The first official sequel to an existing Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy X-2 continues the story of Yuna as she and two female companions set off on a combat-filled adventure to rescue hero Tidus from captivity. Taking place two years after Yuna's epic battle with Sin, the game also stars Riku and a new character named Paine. Once again actresses Hedy Burress and Tara Strong reprise their roles as Yuna and Riku, respectively, and are joined by Gwendoline Yeo as the voice of Paine. While many of the settings will be familiar to Final Fantasy X players, albeit expanded upon in certain areas, a number of changes have been made to the core game engine. The Sphere Grid used to build a character's class has been replaced with a job system that has characters instantly switching between roles during battle. Jobs are represented by costumes, with each transformation influencing a character's hit points and abilities. Yuna, no longer aided by the powerful spirits known as Aeons, has learned the fine art of pop singing, which can lull enemies into a daze long enough for others to attack. The turn-based battle system used in Final Fantasy X has also been dropped in favor of "Active Time Battle" found in previous installments. The game's structure has changed as well, with players being given a series of missions to undertake in any order instead of following a scripted path towards the conclusion.~ Scott Alan Marriott, All Game Guide

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (Fainaru Fantajī Sebun Adobento Chirudoren?) is a 2005 computer-animated film directed by Tetsuya Nomura, co-directed by Takeshi Nozue, written by Kazushige Nojima and based on the highly successful 1997 console role-playing game Final Fantasy VII. The film is set two years after Final Fantasy VII and one year before Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII and follows Cloud Strife as he unravels the cause of a mysterious plague that has beset the population. The initial DVD and UMD release of the film in 2005 was voiced in Japanese. The English-dubbed NTSC and PAL versions were released on April 25, 2006. The Spanish-dubbed PAL version was released on January 30, 2007, in UMD and on February 20, 2007, in DVD. The film's soundtrack, scored by Nobuo Uematsu, was released on September 28, 2005. Two special editions of the Japanese version were released, including the "Ultimate Edition", Advent Pieces: Limited, which includes the OVA Last Order: Final Fantasy VII. Advent Children was the first announced title in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, and received the Honorary Maria Award at the Festival Internacional de Cinema de Catalunya on October 15, 2005. Final Fantasy VII Advent Children was rated PG-13 in the United States by the Motion Picture Association of America for "sequences of intense sci-fi action violence", although it was never shown in theaters (as opposed to the last Final Fantasy CGI film, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within). At the Tokyo Game Show 2006, Square Enix showed a trailer of a director's cut of the movie, titled Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete for release on the Blu-ray disc format. New scenes will be added to the movie, including one where Sephiroth impales Cloud with his sword and then lifts his body up into the air. The movie will also benefit from high-definition video and audio that the Blu-ray format offers. However, only a Japanese release has been confirmed so far, but is likely to be released elsewhere if the popularity of the Blu-ray format continues to grow. The cut had formerly been expected to be released in mid 2007, however, Square Enix announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2007 that they would postpone the product until 2008. - answers.com

Rufus and Turks

Rufus takes over Shinra after his father is killed by Sephiroth. He has no remorse over his fathers death. He rules the company with fear. His father ruled by paying people lots of money to get what he wanted. Rufus says that his way is too costly. Rufus is also greedy, and he looks for the Promised Lands that were suppose to have vast amounts of Mako. He was going to build a new city there, Neo-Midgar, but when he finds that the Promised Land was a wasteland he scratched the idea. He thinks he finds the Promised Land, but really only found where Jenova first landed, the North Crater. After Sephiroth-sama summoned Meteor, Rufus had rescued Tifa and Barret. A week later, when Tifa finally woke up, they were going to be executed. According to Rufus, people were panicking and someone had to take the blame. So Avalanche was blamed and people would feel better if someone was punished. Tseng is the leader of the Turks. He only takes orders from one man, Rufus. He has a crush on Aeris. The only time he gets hurt is when he meets Sephiroth. Tseng ask Elena out before he gets wounded. After he gets wounded, Elena blames it on Cloud and tries to attack him. Reno is the first Turk you meet in the game. He is the one who pushes the button to set the self-destruction thing on the Sector 7 Pillar. He does his job without question. It doesn't matter what the mission is: blow up something, kidnapping, assassination, or anything else. He will carry it out and do it flawlessly. If it's his day off, then he will enjoy drinking it up with his best friend Rude. After his fight with Cloud, Tifa, and Barret, Reno is out of action for a while. Because of this, Elena is elevated to Turk status to fill in for Reno. Reno says that a man who sacrifices himself for his job is just a fool. With that saying, if it looks like he is done for, he will run away so he can fight another day. Reno is one of Aeris' only childhood friends. When he is ordered to capture her, he does it without question. If it weren't for Cloud, Reno would have captured her. The second time Cloud meets Reno is in Gongaga. Cloud overhears a conversation between Reno and Rude about who likes who. They say Tseng likes Aeris, and Rude says he like Tifa. When Avalanche goes to Wutai and Yuffie steals their materia, Cloud and the Turks end up working together to rescue Elena and Yuffie. After rescuing them, Reno gets a call to look for Cloud and the others. Rude looks at Reno for orders. Reno says they shouldn't work on their day off. Cloud and the others are relieved. The last time they meet is in the Midgar tunnels. The Turks give Cloud the choice to fight or go on Rude is a quiet person that is not good with words. He is usually by his best friend Reno. He usually just follows orders from Reno, Tseng, or Rufus Elena is elevated to Turk status after Reno is put out of action for a while. She is still new at the job and always wants to do her best. She is the only known female Turk - http://members.tripod.com/mercenary689/turks.html
