Bendigo in Victoria, Australia, is one of the older Cities we have. It mainly was established for the GOLD RUSH we had many years ago, DIGGERS as they were called, came from all over the World to find this GOLD that just lay-ed on the Ground. (These days the Australian Soldier is called a DIGGER) Many Chinese came to Bendigo, as the GOLD depleted the Chinese stayed on in Bendigo. I believe there could be up to or over 5 generations of Australian Chinese here now. As with many others the Chinese fitted in well, worked and lived and prospered in their new land.They (Chinese) play a very important part in Bendigo's landscape and History. HICCUP/

Gippsland Train, Australia.

This train travels from Melbourne to Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia. It make 3 trips a day, 3 up and 3 back. The distance is about 200miles (320kms). Food and drink is available to purchase on Board. It has cloth seats, 3 on one side and 2 on the other side making up 5 seats per row. There are toilets (washrooms) in each carriage.

This Bridge is in the middle of Melbourne, spanning over the YARRA RIVER. Just make walking to the other end of the CITY that much faster and its a nice safe walk.
